It's Ladies night & I feel alright....

Last night we went to see Sex and the City at the Alamo Drafthouse for our monthly girl's night out. It was great to get out & have some girl time! We had a great time with some yummy food & good laughs!

Ode to Gus..

Last weekend we went to meet our new sweet little friend Guss. Dan & Camille have been great friends of ours for the past 10 years. Dan & Trent have been best friends since high school in New York. They've wanted kids since I can remember so it's really great to see them as proud parents; doting after their beloved Guss. He's such a cutie pie!
Here is Dan messing with Madison. He loves picking on her & she thinks it's a great game too!
I wished I would have gotten some more pictures of the boys together; but things were so fast & furious that I completely forgot. Here's a cute one of them chillin' on the floor together.

When Trent & I met I knew that he'd make a great dad! He's one of the most kind & caring people I've ever known. Now that our family is complete, it feels good to know that we're in this together & that many more memories are to be made!! I'm so proud to have created a family with this man & to be able to call him "OURS!"

Throughout my many years of being a nanny I've found various ways to get creative, dirty or just plain fun! Now it's my turn with MY kids! I hope that Madison & Adam look back at their childhood with fond memories and remember all of the silly stuff their Mom & them did... I know I sure will!

A day full of fun!

Today Madison, Adam & I went to Brushy Creek Lake Park

with Tye, Sarah & baby bump Daniel! :) It was such a beautiful, breezy day!
They had a great time exploring the Labyrinth Nature Trail, playing in the water play scape fountain, having a few belly laughs, eating our impromptu pic nic lunch & stealing a few kisses in between!

I love everything about Summertime except for the sweating my bootie off part!! Stroller rides, swimming, running through the sprinkler, swinging, staying up late, playing at the park, eating ice pops... It's nice to have little playmates to share my days with & to keep me laughing. I see so much of myself in Madison & can't wait to see how Adam turns out!!

This is gunna be a good summer!
