We've been super busy this month with the beautiful weather!  The kids & I have been having fun at parks on playdates & just being outside as much as possible!

Madison's 1st Day of Pre-K

Madison is at her first day of Pre-K today!  I know she'll have a great time meeting new friends & learning new things.  Her teacher Mrs. Schiller is so creative, kind & patient.  We got lucky! She was a little anxious when we dropped her off. It was hard but I know it's what she needs.  It's her first time away from me other than being with family.  I'm so excited for Madison & can't wait to pick her up to see how her first day went.

Cousins Camp

For the past week I've been involved in "Cousins Camp" out near Marble Falls.  Mom/Bubby thought it would be a great idea to have all four cousins out at her house to play & give my sister & I a break.  It sounded great but no such luck!  My kids didn't want me to leave so I just stuck around & we played. The first day we headed out to a swimming  spot on the Llano river called The Slab. It's where the water runs over large granite outcroppings and sandy beaches have formed.  It's beautiful & just plain FUN!  If you're ever in Kingsland you should definitely swing by!  The next day we went down Mom's street to Lake LBJ to swim & jump from the docks.  It was a nice & relaxing day.  For the last day we headed out to my favorite spot; Krause Springs in Spicewood.  There are 32 springs on the property, and several feed the manmade pool and the natural pool which flows into Lake Travis. There is a waterfall, cave, bluffs to jump from & a rope swing.  Pretty much heaven on earth!  We had a great time & can't wait till next year!

Gymnastics here we come!

Madison & Adam have been looking forward to starting gymnastics!  Finally the day has come. They had a great time!  Madison even made a little friend. Every time that she'd get upset the little girl grabbed her hand & told her it was ok. It was so sweet! Her coach gave her high fives the whole time.  All of the coaches were awesome with the kids!

They would only let one parent in for the parent/tot class so Trent & about 10 other people had their faces pressed against the windows. We felt like an animals at the zoo! :)Can't wait for next time!
